Raintree County
In 1859, the idealistic John Wickliff Shawnessey, a resident of Raintree County, Indiana, finds his devotion pulled away from his high school sweetheart Nell Gaither by Susanna Drake, a wealthy New Orleans woman. The ensuing love triangle is intensified by the onset of the American Civil War and a shadowy family history.
