Serial shooters is definitly something that is close to Uwe Boll's heart and it shows in the movies he makes about these (he's made a bunch when he's not making super poor videogame adaptations and other things), he simply puts in that extra effort in to these films that he doesn't do in other films, let's be real Uwe doesn't exactly scream quality film generally speaking. And while this is not as good (or great) as the other 2 movies in the Rampage trilogy it's still a decent enough way to end it. Had my concerns that it wouldn't be because the reception in general wasn't the best and Uwe was also rather pissed at his fans when he wasn't able to fully fund it via Kickstarter, to the degree that he vowed to never make a movie again. Which of course he later detracted and ended up making this anyway. So I was wondering if the lack of public funding would make him lose interest just going to half ass it this time, but luckily that doesn't seem to have been the case. While not perfect I think this movie does get alot of things right and brings some more depth and character development to the character of Bill and Brendan Flether does get to showcase more range in his performance so yeah overall I was not let down. If you are wondering if you can watch this without seeing the others the answer is, you can but it would be a mistake as the other 2 are better and well you'll lose out on context and stuff.
