Recess: School's Out
As the school year winds down, T.J. Detweiler eagerly anticipates a carefree summer. But boredom settles in when his friends head off to camp—until he uncovers a sinister plan to abolish summer vacation. A zany former principal, Dr. Benedict, intends to use a laser beam to alter the weather and forge a permanent winter. Faced with the threat of year-round school, T.J. rallies the RECESS gang and teams up with unlikely allies—Miss Finster and Principal Prickly—for a non-stop mission to save everyone's summer. As the kids discover the heroes inside themselves, a platoon of wacky characters, far-out music, and sci-fi surprises turn this madcap quest into a major victory for fun.

Enjoyable. I occasionally watched the television series when I was younger and remember liking it, so I guess it's no surprise that I had a good time with <em>'Recess: School’s Out'</em>. It features a pretty ridiculous plot but it's brought to life well by the characters and animation. All the former are good, each one with differing personalities. None of the voice cast standout majorly but they all fit perfectly and work together nicely. I rate the music used, also. A simple yet effective film, one that you'll rate if you find the TV episodes entertaining.
