Riff-Raff
Stevie, freshly released from a Scottish prison, lands a job on a London construction site. The working conditions are harsh, and most of the men work under aliases, driven by immigration status and to avoid jeopardizing their unemployment benefits. Some coworkers help Stevie secure housing, and he ends up squatting in a council estate. Then Stevie meets Susan, from Ireland, who is struggling to be a professional singer.
