From the surreal, vividly colored world imagined by K. Gordon Murray comes the 1959 holiday favorite Santa Claus. Produced in Mexico and brought to English via a dub, Santa Claus unfolds the tale of Santa himself, who dwells in a vast white castle high above the Earth in Geosynchronous Orbit, keeping watch over humanity in a way that would make the NSA envious. On Christmas Eve, Lupita, an Earth child, wishes for a doll. Santa hears her wish and sets in motion his annual visit, aided by the heavily medicated Merlin the Wizard and by Santa’s unintentionally creepy mechanical reindeer.
