In the wake of The Ring, a fringe community voluntarily watches Samara Morgan's video, racing to approach the seven-day deadline as closely as possible before passing it along to the next viewer. They document every observation and share their experiences on a clandestine website devoted to the videotape. To date, no one has ever recorded day seven.
