Rising: Voices of Protest and Hope

A feature documentary follows five ordinary people as they rise from catastrophe to safeguard the soul of their homeland. They join an unprecedented grassroots uprising, striving to defend democracy, halt the bloodshed, bring the hostages home, and uphold Israel's founding ideals of justice, equality, and collective responsibility. In contrast to headlines and a rising extremist government, the film reveals the Israel rooted in justice, pluralism, and the pursuit of peace. Although based in Israel, RISING tells a universal story: with democracy under siege worldwide, it speaks to global struggles over authoritarianism, civic resistance, and moral responsibility.
