Continuing directly from season 6, season 7 drops Jughead Jones into the 1950s with no explanation of how he arrived or how to return to the present. His friends offer no guidance, living seemingly authentic lives that mirror their classic Archie Comics counterparts, unaware that they have ever left the 1950s. Can Jughead and the gang find a way back to the present, or are they destined to remain trapped in the 1950s forever? And if that is the case, is it really such a bad thing?
