RoboCop: The Series

RoboCop: The Series is a 1994 television adaptation based on the film of the same name, featuring Richard Eden in the title role. Designed primarily for younger audiences—children and early teenagers—the series forgoes the graphic violence associated with RoboCop and RoboCop 2. RoboCop relies on several non-lethal alternatives to incapacitating criminals, enabling certain villains to reappear as recurring adversaries. The OCP Chairman and his corporation are depicted as naive and ignorant, in contrast to the malicious and immoral behavior that emerges from RoboCop 2 onward.
