Robotech II: The Sentinels was an ambitious effort to extend the original 1985 Robotech television saga. The project was canceled in 1986. The aborted Sentinels series would have followed the ongoing adventures of Rick Hunter, Lisa Hayes, and the Robotech Expeditionary Force (REF) as they navigated the events of The Robotech Masters and The New Generation.
