Route 66

Upon learning that his late father squandered most of the family wealth, Tod Stiles sets out along the iconic Trans-America Highway in his Corvette, seeking adventure with his street-smart companion Buz Murdock, a survivor of New York's toughest streets. The duo take on a succession of odd jobs as they encounter a parade of colorful characters and are drawn into one perilous situation after another, some tinged with romance, others brimming with danger. Later, Linc Case, a Vietnam War veteran in search of purpose, steps in as Tod's travel companion.
