Rufus

Manny has just moved to a new school and struggles to belong. After wishing for more friends, he discovers a mysterious collar and fits it on Rufus, the family dog. With a flash of magic, Rufus becomes a boy. Manny enrolls Rufus in school to help him fit in. When the other students notice Rufus's playful dog antics—chasing squirrels, eating without utensils, begging for belly rubs, and catching a soccer ball with his mouth—he instantly becomes the most popular kid around. Manny feels a twinge of jealousy toward his new best friend, but ultimately learns that a dog's loyalty to his owner will always come first.
