Rules of Engagement is a comedy about the evolving dynamics of male–female relationships, told through the perspectives of Adam and Jennifer, a newly engaged couple; Jeff and Audrey, a long-married pair; and Russell, a single guy on the prowl. The show reveals how the often perplexing stages of romance can feel like a roller-coaster ride. People can describe the ride to you, but true understanding comes only from living it yourself.
