Run with the Wind
Once an elite high school runner, Kakeru is pursued after stealing a meal, only to be rescued by Haiji, a Kansei University student and fellow runner. Haiji convinces Kakeru to move into the aging apartment Chikuseisou, where he intends to recruit a team from the building's residents to compete in the Hakone Ekiden Marathon, Japan's premier university race. Soon, Kakeru learns that, apart from Haiji and himself, the rest of the tenants are total newcomers.
