Ruthless People
Sam Stone despises his wife Barbara to the point of wishing her dead. He is ecstatic when a duo of kidnappers abducts her, demanding a $500,000 ransom for her life. Fully intending to ignore every one of the kidnappers' demands in the hopes that they will do him a favor and murder her for him, the two baffled kidnappers must figure out how they're going to obtain the money and what they'll do with the overbearing Barbara.
