Sahara

Following Tobruk's fall in June 1942, U.S. Army Sergeant Joe Gunn guides his tank across the Sahara to elude Rommel's advancing forces and reach the Allied lines. Along the ordeal he gathers a handful of Allied soldiers, but water becomes perilously scarce. They discover water at an ancient well, yet the well stands as the objective of an entire German battalion. Against impossible odds, Sergeant Gunn resolves to defend the well.
