Kin is the president of KTK Corporation and is about to marry his longtime girlfriend Ganok. On their wedding night, the bride goes to retrieve a wedding present she had forgotten for her newly wedded husband. Meanwhile, Tawan has just left the airport after discovering that her fiancé has been cheating for two years and is ending their engagement; they are expecting their first child. Hurt and heartbroken, Tawan walks home in the rain and, while crossing the street, is struck by a car driven by Ganok. Tawan is hospitalized, and Ganok later dies. Kin is devastated to have just lost the love of his life and demands to know who caused his wife's car accident. He later goes to Tawan's hospital room and reads the name on her ID tag.
