Sarah, Plain and Tall
Kansas, 1910. Widowed farmer Jacob Witting grapples with managing his farm and two children, Anna and Caleb. John places a newspaper ad seeking a mail-order bride, and the 'plain and tall' Sarah Wheaton answers, traveling from Maine to Kansas to become John's wife.
