Shiba Inuko-san

Chako Ishibashi is an utterly ordinary middle school student navigating typical days at a typical school. Yet one quirk colors her everyday life—the classmate seated beside her, Shibainuko-san. What makes her so peculiar in Chako's eyes? The answer is simple: Shibainuko-san doesn't resemble a human at all; she bears the unmistakable visage of a Shiba Inu. Polite, well-meaning, and blending canine and human mannerisms, Shibainuko-san is beloved by everyone. Yet Chako notices that her classmates seem oblivious to her unusual appearance.
