Fujimoto Shouji, a widowed single father who aspires to become a picture-book author, raises his daughter Kana, who adores Takasaki Minami, the singing idol on the children's educational show Let's Sing With Big Sis! When Shouji encounters Minami off duty, the beloved television icon for children finds her private life lonely due to a ban on romantic relationships. Thus, an adult romance blossoms between the father and the songstress. Inspired by the character Uta no Oneesan from Okaasan to Issho.
