Son in Law
Raised on a South Dakota farm, Rebecca heads to college in Los Angeles and is immediately overwhelmed by the intimidating urban landscape. She forges a friendship with Crawl, a savvy party animal who persuades the ambivalent Rebecca to remain in the metropolis. When Thanksgiving break arrives, Rebecca, no longer an innocent farm girl, invites Crawl back to South Dakota, where he pretends to be her fiancé.

Not sure if _Son in Law_ is a little extra dated, if maybe it's just because I didn't see it until I was already an adult, or if maybe it's just actually worse, but whatever the reason, I didn't vibe with _Son in Law_ as much as I have the other Paulie Shore movies I've seen. Still outright refuse to jump on that hate train though. _Final rating:★★ - Had some things that appeal to me, but a poor finished product._
