Split
An epic journey follows a young woman who must claim her own darkness and sexuality so she can stop surrendering them to her abusive lover. Inanna, a young actress who works as a stripper, becomes consumed with a mask maker, sacrificing parts of herself and her life, piece by piece, in a bid to win his love. At the same time, she embarks on a mythic journey within the theater, a path that forces her to confront the abuses endured by women around the world, blurring her performance, dreams, and real life. The story builds to a provocative and powerful confrontation that frees her.
