Squidbillies

Squidbillies is an animated series that follows the Cuylers, a financially struggling family of anthropomorphic hillbilly mud squids inhabiting Georgia's Appalachian mountains. Produced by Williams Street Studios for the Adult Swim block on Cartoon Network, the show premiered on October 16, 2005. It is written by Dave Willis, co-creator of Aqua Teen Hunger Force, and Jim Fortier, formerly associated with The Brak Show; both contributed to Adult Swim's Space Ghost Coast to Coast. Animation by Awesome Incorporated, with background design by Ben Prisk.
