After escaping from a psychiatric facility, Dr. Albert Beck hides in an empty house until the new owners unexpectedly arrive to move in. Forced into the attic to evade detection, Beck watches from above as the recently widowed mother settles in, and he is undeniably attracted to her 18-year-old daughter.
