Strange Heroes

The story tracks Korea's top reporters and ordinary citizens as they resist the society elite's abuse of power. Jin Do Hyeok, a correspondent for a sensational tabloid called the Monday Seoul, stops at nothing to secure a scoop. During an interview with Jo Yong Deok, the boss of the Axe gang, he is urged to launch their own newspaper. Do Hyeok fabricates the credentials of his former colleagues when presenting them as potential hires for the venture. With the former coworkers on board, he launches Yongdeok Daily together with Yong Deok. Yet the newly hired reporters quickly find themselves swept into a vast conspiracy that could ruin their lives.
