STRANGER

STRANGER is a coming-of-age short film about two neighbors, Max and Cass, who mend their strained bond before one heads off to college in Chicago. Based on a true event from the last day I was in town before I left for college, the story follows their reconnection after years of silence as they revisit their shared history, acknowledge how they’ve grown into young adults, and admit that they miss hanging out. With Cass departing while Max stays in town to fix cars, this final conversation becomes a goodbye spoken on a hopeful, amicable note.
