Subway in the Sky

Set against the backdrop of Berlin, this crime drama follows a military doctor falsely accused of trafficking illegal drugs. Escaping the military police, he takes refuge in the apartment his wife had rented, unaware that she has sublet it to a nightclub singer. When he learns the truth, he pleads with the singer for assistance. She is drawn to him and agrees. The doctor suspects his wife is behind the black-market dealings, but ultimately the real culprit is revealed.
