Summer Days with Coo

An isolated, diminutive Kappa defies the ages, enduring for more than two centuries into contemporary Japan, where a young boy named Koichi discovers him. Coo, secretly adopted into Koichi's family, teams up with his new human friend to seek out sparsely populated regions in hopes of locating surviving members of his species.

Nice animation movie about the friendship of a kid and a mithological being from Japanese culture. Deep, with some insight about the meaning of life and loneliness. Still, it keeps just being a remasterization of another movies like E.T. or "Mac and Me" with quite a lot of stereotypes.
