Summerland

Bradin, Nikki and Derrick are three children from a typical Kansas upbringing. Their lives are upended when their parents are tragically killed in a car accident. Their aunt, Ava Gregory, gains custody of her niece and nephews, and they relocate to her Californian home in Summerland. Ava is a struggling fashion designer who shares her life with her best friend and business partner Susannah Rexford, her companion and former pro surfer Jay Robertson, and her ex-boyfriend, a real estate agent named Johnny Durrant. Collectively, these four adults are ill-prepared to care for children and are unaccustomed to incorporating them into their daily lives.
