Sunset Beach
Sunset Beach is an American television soap opera that aired on NBC from January 6, 1997, to December 31, 1999. The narrative centers on the loves and lives of the residents inhabiting the Orange County coastal community known as Sunset Beach, California. Although California has a town named Sunset Beach, the series filmed its beach scenes in nearby Seal Beach. NBC partnered with Spelling Television to co-produce the show. During its run, Sunset Beach won two Daytime Emmy Awards and received eleven additional nominations. It also racked up twenty-two nominations across other awards.
