Meet Morgan, an ostensibly ordinary cleaning woman whose work isn’t in pristine mansions but in the grisly aftermaths of crime. At one scene, she uncovers a crucial piece of evidence overlooked by the forensic team, and her knack for reading blood spatter draws the attention of Nick, a rookie detective assigned to the case. The pair become unofficial partners as a string of related murders unfolds. As they inch toward the solution, they also draw closer to each other. They manage to secure a confession from the primary suspect, but their growing feelings threaten their objectivity, nudging them dangerously close to the real killer.
