Taking Woodstock
This recounts the story of Elliot Tiber and his family, whose unsuspecting actions helped propel the legendary Woodstock Music and Arts Festival into the cultural phenomenon it became. When Elliot learns that a neighboring town has withdrawn the permit for a hippie music festival, he reaches out to the producers, hoping to generate much-needed business for his parents' run-down motel. Three weeks later, as half a million people converge on his neighbor’s farm in White Lake, New York, Elliot is swept into a life-changing, era-defining experience that would alter his own future—and reshape American culture.
