Neko Tsukahara awakens amid an expansive, barren wasteland, where twilight clings to the farthest edge of the world. Stripped of memory—of who she is and how she arrived here—she stumbles through the desolate terrain. Then, out of the dim, the Tasogare Hotel materializes behind her. Inside its doors, she encounters a manager whose head is aflame. Doubtful whether she lives or merely exists, Neko resolves to recover her lost memories, just as a mysterious guest makes an entrance.
