Tenacious D in The Pick of Destiny
In Venice Beach, a naive Midwestern newcomer named JB befriends a laid-back local, KG, and the two fuse their energies to form the rock outfit Tenacious D. Driven by the dream of becoming the world's greatest band, they set out to seize what could be the answer to their prayers—a magical guitar pick housed in a rock-and-roll museum about 300 miles away.
