The Andromeda Strain
A U.S. satellite crashes near a small Utah town, unleashing a deadly plague that wipes out most of the population, sparing only two survivors who may hold the key to immunizing everyone. With the area quarantined by the military, a cadre of elite scientists is mobilized to locate a cure and halt the spread of the alien pathogen, designated Andromeda.

The cast is quite decent and, with exceptions of some moments in which the horrible script ruins their performance, they do a good job. The problem is that the story is bad and expectable and the FX horrible.
