An intimate, reverent authorized single-screen version of an installation by celebrated video artist Ahtila. Set against snow-draped forests, a women's theatre troupe rehearses a stage adaptation of the Annunciation, with Kati Outinen—Aki Kaurismäki’s signature actress—portraying the director. Through the rehearsal, the work reveals parallel worlds of humans and animals and the proximity between the ordinary and the miraculous.
