On 22 June 2010, in Sofia, Bulgaria, Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth and Anthrax united on a single stage—the first-ever gathering of the 'Big Four' of thrash. The landmark Sonisphere Festival concert was broadcast live to more than 550 theatres worldwide via satellite in a premium HD cinematic event.
