The Book of Pooh
The Book of Pooh is an American television series that aired on the Disney Channel. It stands as the third Pooh-centered program inspired by A. A. Milne’s works, following the live-action Welcome to Pooh Corner and the animated The New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh (1988–1991). It debuted on February 9, 2001, and its run concluded on July 8, 2003. The series was produced by Shadow Projects and Playhouse Disney. Notably, it marked the first Pooh show in which Jim Cummings voiced Tigger, filling in for the late Paul Winchell. In the United Kingdom, it was broadcast on Channel 5’s Milkshake! block as well as on Playhouse Disney, with Milkshake!’s run ending around 2006–2007.
