The Boxer
Nineteen-year-old Danny Flynn is imprisoned for his involvement with the Irish Republican Army in Belfast, leaving behind his family and his sixteen-year-old girlfriend, Maggie Hamill. After fourteen years behind bars, he is released and returns to his old working-class neighborhood to pick up his life as a boxer.
