The Bridge

In the late stages of World War II, a band of German youths is ordered to guard a small bridge in their home village. As retreating, cynical Wehrmacht soldiers flee the approaching American forces, the boys, ardently devoted to the Nazi creed of "blood and honor," remain to defend the useless bridge.
