The Buccaneers
Four American debutantes with newly acquired fortunes strive to breach New York's upper-crust circles. Their governess, Laura Testvalley, proposes a London season, sending the young women across the Atlantic to charm the English aristocracy. In England, each girl quickly secures a suitable match, and the youngest, Nan, appears to have landed the prize: the handsome and immensely wealthy Julius, Duke of Trevennick. Yet the sisters soon discover that English upper-class men are far from what they had anticipated and hoped for.
