The Deadly Look of Love
Janet Flanders, a naive, small-town girl, is enticed by the lure of romantic love, convinced that a prince will one day sweep her away. Her illusion shatters when she meets the handsome Brett Becker, whom she believes is the man of her dreams—unaware that he is engaged to a wealthy socialite. Clinging to the fantasy that Brett loves her, she moves to Chicago to be closer, floods him with calls and love notes, tells her family about her boyfriend Brett, and buys an engagement ring. Her obsessive fixation drives her from intrigue to murder.
