The End of the Affair
A rainy London night in 1946 frames the encounter as novelist Maurice Bendrix unexpectedly meets Henry Miles, husband of his former lover Sarah, whose affair with him ended abruptly two years earlier. Bendrix's obsession with Sarah is rekindled, driving him to jealousy and prompting him to covertly arrange for her to be followed.
