The Fear Index

Dr. Alex Hoffman, an American expatriate physicist, develops an AI-powered system that weaponizes fear within the financial markets and executes trades at breakneck speed to secure substantial returns. On launch day, however, his mental equilibrium is shaken when he is viciously attacked at his home by a man who knows every one of his security codes. As a sequence of unexplained events mounts, Alex becomes convinced that he is being framed.
