The Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert

A live tribute concert honoring Freddie Mercury, the legendary former frontman of Queen. In the wake of Mercury's passing from AIDS, a portion of the proceeds supported AIDS research. The event showcases an array of performers including Metallica, Def Leppard, Elton John, Axl Rose, Extreme, George Michael, and many others. Acts alternate between delivering their own hits, performing Queen classics, or jamming with the surviving members of Queen for collaborative moments.
