One day, a man who claims to be a god hijacks a school's intercoms, ordering every student to form teams and brace for transport to another world. There, they will be granted special skills in the hope of becoming that world’s heroes and defeating the Demon King. The initial transfer succeeds. However, Seiichi Hiiragi, who endures constant bullying from his classmates, is left behind as no one volunteers to be his teammate. Nevertheless, the self-proclaimed god decides to send Seiichi to the parallel world and allows him to join his peers. Unfortunately, this fateful ordeal drops Seiichi deep in a forest, far from his schoolmates and from civilization. Seiichi's misery continues when he discovers a strange fruit known as the 'Fruit of Evolution'—which may be his first step toward a significantly better future.
