The Good Heart
Jacques, the cantankerous proprietor of a grizzled New York dive bar, presides over a ragtag roster of professional drinkers. He is determined to drink and smoke himself to death, a trajectory that shifts when he meets Lucas, a homeless young man who has already surrendered to life. Vowing to preserve his legacy, Jacques deems Lucas a fitting heir and takes him under his wing.
