The Grass Dwellers

Juan Méndez Bernal departs his house on April 9, 1936 to fight in the looming Spanish Civil War. Eighty-three years later, his body remains among the Grass Dwellers. The only relic he leaves from those years at the front is a collection of 28 letters written in his own hand.
