The Jönsson Gang at High Stakes
Vanheden and Dynamite-Harry are approached by Sickan's grandmother and Sickan's younger brother Sven-Ingvar as the Jönsson gang become entangled in a high-stakes caper. Their arch-nemesis Wall-Enberg schemes to siphon billions of euros from European Union cultural grants. A grant of 350 million kronor, routed through an Italian intermediary bank, equals 60 billion lire, but with the help of a Sicilian 'businessman' this sum is converted to 60 billion kronor during the transfer. The money is to be moved into a large number of bank accounts, with the account numbers stored on a floppy disk that the Jönsson gang is attempting to steal.
