The Lacemaker
Pomme, a meek and unassuming French beautician, experiences a fateful turn during a vacation in Normandy. She becomes the lover of François, a middle-class literature student. The relationship deteriorates when François brings her home to meet his parents, largely because of their differing social backgrounds.
